Every day, reconnect with just one person in your “almost list.”
What’s your “almost list?”
It’s made up of:
- Buyers who “almost” wrote an offer
- Sellers who “almost” listed
- Leads who “almost” took your call
- Past clients who “almost” referred you
These people already know you. They already like you (at least a little). And they already showed interest. But life got in the way. They ghosted. They paused. They got cold feet. Or worse—they listed with someone else because you didn’t follow up.
That stops today.
Why This Habit Works Like Crazy
There are two kinds of marketing:
- Cold marketing: trying to get strangers to trust you.
- Warm marketing: reactivating people who already trust you.

Try this message format: “Hey [Name], just thinking about you this morning—I know timing didn’t feel quite right when we last talked, but inventory is shifting again. There are some great deals (and serious buyers) coming through. Want me to keep you in the loop just in case something makes sense for you?”
You’re not selling. You’re not chasing. You’re gently re-opening the door. And when you do this daily—over time—you’ll have a pipeline full of people who trust you, remember you, and want your help.

Here’s what I’ve seen in real life: One of my Inner Circle agents added this exact habit during a slow June. He reached out to one “almost” lead per day—just a simple text or voice message. By the end of the month?
- 2 listing appointments booked
- 1 buyer under contract
- 1 referral from a past client
Total commission? $24,000 from one tiny daily habit.
